ANIMALS AT WAR

A film by ÉRIC BEAUDICEL
Produced by EKLA
52′ HD

Synopsis

The history of animals in the army is surprising and unknown. There were military dolphins in the Iraq war, pigeons in the Great War, as well as dogs in many other battles. They were chosen for their acute sense of smell, agility, resistance and above all for their intelligence that made them sometimes more suitable than any machine. 120 000 of them have even been decorated for their heroic deeds, like the Swedish seals which were sent against the German submarines.

The viewers will finally be able to watch these stories in detail thanks to high-quality CGI and unreleased war archives.
