Buenos Aires, 1973, the comics heroin Mafalda was created by Quino. She was a cheeky little girl who was constantly questioning about life and the planet. Over the years, she has become the symbol of an anti-conformist spirit around the world. Through archives, animated images, and real shots, Mafalda embodies a peculiar way to look at the world of today. While telling the story of this heroin, the film offers a reflection on our last 50 years. What happened since Quino stopped drawing her? What about peace, feminism, wealth, and the environment?
