Expedition: Yangtze

Geoffroy and Loic, two explorers equipped with a handheld camera, want to understand the link between man, water and socio-economic development. From Tibet’s highlands, through the cottage industry around the city of Chongqing, to the modern industrial premises in Shanghai at the mouth of the river, the viewers will discover of variety of ways of living. This road movie-style documentary series reminds us of the essential role of water in people’s life, and how the socio-economic development should never forget this and preserve the quantity and quality of it.
