Rush Hour in Antarctica

A film by LUC JACQUET
Produced by Bonne Pioche

Synopsis

From August to March, the great Silence on the South Pole is over. It is replaced by noises of squawking, barking, hustling, jostling, fighting and sex… Millions of penguins, seals and seabirds wait for this break in the endless polar winter that brings springtime to the Antarctic beaches. All the animals are at the starting blocks for the shortest love feast in the world. This lovely documentary is narrated in a vivid and info-entertaining way, which appeals to both adults and children.
